We live in Holiday Florida. Brett is serving at Bible Basics International. We started full-time in October of 2009. Leanne is a stay at home Mom with our son Daniel.
Bible Basics International is, as the name implies, an international mission with our headquarters in Odessa Florida. BBI has a radio station on the island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras in Central America. BBI has an outreach to India through BBI Missions India where we operate two printing presses that are used to produce literature in 16 languages enabling us to reach the country of over 1 billion people. BBI also has over 500 national missionaries working out of 137 field stations within 17 states in India.
My job at BBI is administrative assistant, but my responsibilities go beyond that. The things I do, in a support role, help make it possible for the ministry to operate. I help with administrative jobs like calling to change our phone or internet service. I process donations and make deposits. I’ve maintained the website and built computers. I have done artwork on the computer and helped install a new phone system saving thousands of dollars for the mission. The Lord has provided me with a wide variety of experience through my past secular jobs. All of those jobs seem to have been in preparation for my work here at BBI.
We are currently at about 63% pledged support but the Lord has been faithfully supplying our needs. Please pray for us as we seek to raise the remaining support in a very difficult economy.
